The printed magazine is not going anywhere. It will carry on being delivered by hand to homes across the parish, just as it always has. The website is simply here for anyone who missed a copy, has moved away from the village, or wants to look something up in an older issue.

About Widford
Widford is a small village and civil parish in East Hertfordshire, about four miles east of Ware and a little to the south of Much Hadham. The River Ash runs through the north of the parish, and the village itself sits above the Ash valley, in some of the most rural country in East Herts. At the 2021 census the parish was home to 659 people, living in around 220 houses, more than fifty of which are listed for their architectural or historic merit.
The parish church of St John the Baptist is Grade II* listed, and its oldest parts date from the early thirteenth century. The village hall was built in 1910. The name Widford is usually taken to come from the Old English for a ford by the willows.
